About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Target health care providers spanning general cardiology across IDN/Health Systems, group practice accounts, and other accounts
- Execute ATTR-CM disease awareness with appropriate customer stakeholders
- Work closely with Cardiac Account Specialists to ensure seamless customer interactions throughout the patient journey
- Develop in-depth sales business plans and execute them to accelerate new patient starts through increased disease-state awareness
- Utilize approved marketing resources to educate customers and build meaningful relationships
- Prioritize customer opportunities and projects using available datasets and stakeholder input
- Develop territory business objectives and define key performance metrics aligned to brand objectives
- Maintain active customer profiles, plans, and datasets using company planning resources
- Evaluate and refine call planning based on local territory factors
- Utilize advanced selling skills and approaches, including PSSF
- Tailor approved brand messaging to customer priorities and needs
- Connect Pfizer resources and services to patient needs
- Grow and maintain relationships with stakeholders and decision makers
- Build expertise in local market factors, customer landscape, ATTR-CM, diagnostic procedures, related diseases, and the Vyndamax clinical profile
- Educate customers on ATTR-CM and related diagnostic procedures to support patient identification and treatment
- Present approved marketing educational programs and materials in a compelling and compliant manner
- Coordinate with customer-facing teams and subject matter experts
- Gather customer insights and apply market/customer data to identify opportunities and threats
- Prioritize resource utilization to meet customer needs
- Pursue individual learning opportunities and contribute best practices and customer insights
- Collaborate with CAS and other colleagues to deliver resources to local customers
- Ensure compliant utilization of promotional materials and selling activities
- Comply with Pfizer policies, procedures, regulations, and business-conduct standards
- Report to the Area Business Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree required OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor the execution of Territory business plans
- Demonstrated history of strong teamwork / collaboration
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated history of applying market / customer insights to inform sales planning and execution
- Demonstrated track record of assessing customer (Account and/or HCP) needs and bringing relevant and appropriate tools / resources to drive performance
- Consistently follows and supports company policies
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
- 2–3 overnights may be required per month
- Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular experience and expertise strongly preferred
- Product launch experience preferred
- Hospital Sales experience preferred
- Experience calling on large academic centers and hospital systems
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
