About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Target health care providers across multiple disciplines, IDN/Health Systems, group practice accounts, and other appropriate stakeholders
- Execute sales strategy for Vyndamax per approved indications and ATTR-CM disease awareness
- Develop in-depth sales business plans and execute them with customer-facing colleagues to achieve or exceed target sales and account goals
- Prioritize customer opportunities and projects using available data and stakeholder input
- Develop territory business objectives and define performance metrics aligned to brand objectives
- Maintain active customer profiles, plans, and datasets using company planning resources
- Evaluate and refine call planning based on local territory factors
- Use advanced selling approaches, including Customer Focused Selling Approach and Strategic Account Selling
- Tailor approved brand messaging to customer priorities and needs
- Partner with customers to connect Pfizer resources and services to patient needs
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Develop expertise in ATTR-CM, related diagnostic procedures, diseases, and the Vyndamax clinical profile
- Educate customers on ATTR-CM disease awareness, diagnostic procedures, patient identification, and treatment
- Implement approved marketing educational programs and present approved materials compliantly
- Coordinate with customer-facing teams, Subject Matter Experts, and Rare Disease cross-functional account team members
- Gather customer insights, analyze market/customer data, and identify business opportunities and threats
- Provide local and customer-specific insights to HQ Brand Marketing, Planning & Innovation, and Payer and Channel Access teams
- Pursue professional development, accept coaching, and build individual capabilities
- Collaborate with local and HQ colleagues, share best practices and customer insights, and provide actionable feedback
- Ensure compliant use of promotional materials and selling activities
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and Pfizer business conduct standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5-10 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor the execution of Territory business plans
- Demonstrated history of strong teamwork / collaboration
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated history of applying market / customer insights to inform sales planning and execution
- Demonstrated track record of assessing customer (Account and/or HCP) needs and bringing relevant and appropriate tools / resources to drive performance
- Consistently follows and supports company policies
- Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
- Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular experience and expertise strongly preferred
- Product launch experience preferred
- Hospital Sales experience preferred
- Experience calling on large academic centers and hospital systems
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
