About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory
  • Engage with customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
  • Use digital tools for customer engagement
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions using approved disease-state information and patient resources
  • Collaborate compliantly across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives
  • Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, educator roles, or full-time military experience; alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify hiring
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Preferred: 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
  • Preferred: strong sales or marketing track record, territory management skills, communication skills, teamwork, leadership ability and accountability
  • Preferred: experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic area and products
  • Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
  • Preferred: residence within territory boundaries
