About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Key Account Management strategic direction, development, and execution of account plans and partnerships with aligned Leading Health Systems and Integrated Account Teams in Dermatology
  • Accomplish mutually aligned goals focused on market expansion and brand access opportunities
  • Understand healthcare market environments, business drivers, priorities, capabilities, organizational structures, ways of working, external influencers, and decision-making rights of aligned key accounts
  • Develop and manage executive-level customer relationships with C-suite, D-suite, therapeutic department heads, and critical decision makers
  • Align internal and external stakeholders and decision makers based on account plans and goals
  • Gather relevant data and develop and enhance Strategic Account Plans
  • Develop SMART objectives and tactics aligned to Key Performance Indicators
  • Monitor progress toward goals and take remedial action to maintain Strategic Account Plans
  • Identify and interpret account and customer needs and connect Pfizer’s value proposition to those needs
  • Build trust and maintain customer relationships through follow-up
  • Build relationships with internal and external decision makers and manage stakeholders throughout projects
  • Lead and support high-functioning Integrated Account Teams with cross-functional specialists and Pfizer stakeholders
  • Facilitate understanding of local market and customer drivers
  • Influence Key Account Management efforts locally, regionally, or nationally
  • Share and scale proven practices across the region and nation
  • Lead pull-through activities aligned with Pfizer business leader direction
  • Negotiate based on Pfizer and strategic account needs, market insights, approved strategies, and appropriate negotiation techniques
  • Summarize negotiations, agreed actions, and monitoring processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
  • Past working relationships within most of the aligned accounts
  • At least 2 years spent in a promoted position and/or developmental role with demonstrated leadership across peer and manager groups
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical/marketing/sales experience
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
