About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as strategic insights partner to the SV/FetraV launch team, with primary accountability for the US business and partnership with global counterparts
- Own US forecasting, long-range planning, market research, and launch planning for SV/FetraV
- Lead in-line forecasting for TIVDAK, including quarterly latest estimates, demand and performance tracking, and refinement of assumptions
- Develop and implement complex models for short-term and long-term US revenue forecasts
- Triangulate multiple forecast approaches to assess opportunities, address business questions, and evaluate risk
- Own the US long-range planning process, including scenario planning and contribution to global guidance
- Align forecasting assumptions across thoracic indications and stakeholders
- Track forecast accuracy and key assumptions and refine models based on in-market performance
- Lead US market research covering market landscaping, customer insights, and competitive dynamics
- Synthesize forecasts, market research, secondary analytics, and competitive intelligence into strategic recommendations
- Shape US launch strategy, growth drivers, competitive positioning, and strategic imperatives
- Lead strategic deep-dives on launch sequencing, competitive response, line-of-therapy dynamics, and market shaping
- Present forecast outputs, strategic implications, and trade-offs to senior leadership
- Integrate analytics-related requests across the thoracic franchise with PAI, Data Science, market research, pipeline insights, and brand teams
- Translate demand forecasts into manufacturing, production, and stock-keeping plans with Supply Chain Planning
- Inform and validate US launch pricing assumptions with Pricing and Market Access teams
- Provide revenue forecasts for corporate processes in collaboration with Finance, Global Value & Access, and Program Management
- Travel required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required, science or business-related focus preferred, and 8+ years of relevant experience; or MS/MBA with 7+ years of experience; or PhD with 5+ years of experience
- Minimum of 5+ years in biopharmaceutical insights functions (forecasting, market research, or analytics) and/or management consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in sophisticated forecasting methodologies
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development and commercialization, including US market access dynamics and industry competitive dynamics
- Superior analytical ability, strategic thinking, and excellent project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functionally in a matrix environment without direct authority
- Excellent oral/written communication and executive presentation skills; self-starter comfortable operating with ambiguity
- Experience integrating insights from disparate sources and ensuring alignment across teams
- Oncology experience strongly preferred; thoracic/lung cancer market knowledge a plus
- Prior product launch experience, ideally in oncology, with ability to build launch forecasts and insights plans from early assumptions
- Experience in commercial strategy, brand planning, or strategic consulting
- Experience creating and operating oncology forecasts using multiple methodologies
- Experience working in a strategy consulting firm, conducting analysis and market research projects
- Comfort presenting to and advising senior management
- Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty and pose effective questions for decision-making
- Ability to communicate complex datasets to executive audience
- Comfort utilizing AI to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
