About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive measurable outcomes through implementation of the 2027 Health Equity Strategic Plan across four key pillars
- Lead overall execution, optimization, and expansion of health equity initiatives into additional cities and states
- Generate and assess insights around health care disparities among target audiences
- Serve as an internal brand champion to drive cross-functional understanding and alignment
- Create a sustainable metrics plan to assess health equity impact on ATTR-CM suspicion in local HCP and patient communities
- Develop future health equity strategic and tactical plans linked to the broader Vyndamax strategic plan
- Manage multicultural agency partners and identify community partners across advocacy, civic, faith-based, medical, professional, health system, and community organizations
- Lead culturally relevant community resources and tactics, including educational presentations, health fair materials, collateral, and other resources
- Oversee HCP and community presentations, speaker nomination and training, outreach, event scheduling, and measurement of program impact and reach
- Identify complementary tactics such as paid media to reach target consumers and physicians
- Partner with Pfizer External Communications and PR/communications agencies on local communications tactics
- Partner with field-based champions, Field Force, and KAMs to educate HCPs and health systems about the program and hereditary ATTR-CM
- Facilitate periodic check-in calls to share learnings and best practices across markets
- Manage program budget, including agency fees, media, sponsorships, and related investments
- Measure KPIs and optimize the program based on results and insights
- Represent Rare Cardiac on the Specialty Care Health Equity COE
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical commercial roles
- Proven track record leading development of successful strategic and implementation plans
- History of successfully leading through influence across complex matrixed environments
- Demonstrated leadership partnering with external professional and community organizations
- Demonstrated success developing, executing, and measuring complex programs or initiatives
- Ability to work under pressure, take accountability for business challenges, think strategically, and tackle complex problems in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to execute in the face of ambiguity or change and adapt as role responsibilities evolve
- Strong team player with ability to gain alignment through effective listening, stakeholder engagement, and communication
- Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for varied internal and external audiences, including senior Pfizer leadership and senior management from external organizations
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and individuals to impact business performance
- Proficiency managing several complex projects simultaneously
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
