About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and maintain the standardized taxonomy connecting competencies, sub-competencies, skills and learning curricula across commercial customer-facing roles
  • Build and map role-based and cross-role learning architecture views
  • Show which curricula serve which competencies and how depth progresses from foundational to advanced
  • Govern the architecture standard and arbitrate structural questions between role-based competency models
  • Ensure new content is mapped into the taxonomy as it is created
  • Partner with subject matter experts who own role-based competency models
  • Provide structured insight on content reuse, gaps and taxonomy evolution
  • Serve as the single point of reference for existing, incremental and upgradeable learning content
  • Advise on delivery-modality fit and link the architecture to measurement
  • Define and validate correlations between learning, competency attainment and business outcomes
  • Generate content-impact insight over time
  • Maintain version control and change governance
  • Work cross-functionally with training delivery leads, content and enablement partners, measurement and analytics colleagues and digital teams
  • Operate in a matrixed environment and support aligned business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in learning & development, organizational capability-building, enablement or operations
  • Experience ideally in a commercial or field-facing organization
  • Ability to design and govern taxonomies or structured frameworks at scale
  • Experience with role-based competency architectures, skills frameworks or curriculum design
  • Working fluency in UX and CX design
  • Working fluency in learning measurement and analytics
  • Ability to define and validate learning-to-outcome correlations with a measurement function
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and partnership skills
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts and content owners without owning the content itself
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong visual and stakeholder communication skills
  • Approximately 10% travel required
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
