About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define requirements for profiling data-driven care gap/unmet needs and HCP prioritization models
  • Manage the analytics roadmap and guide teams and stakeholders toward success
  • Set and communicate analytical vision to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with MCCDH team leads, category leads, and country leads to align analytics with asset strategy and team needs
  • Provide model expertise at cross-functional forums to support strategic product decisions
  • Attend scientific events, congresses, and trainings to stay informed about medical analysis trends and innovations
  • Coordinate with the Medical Outcomes and Analytics lead to include key HCP and care gap insights in dashboards
  • Lead the development team and manage analytics delivery
  • Translate requirements and manage the use-case backlog
  • Own and review results for internal stakeholders at varying organizational levels
  • Work with the data management governance lead to ensure access to appropriate data sources and adherence to data governance standards
  • Travel as required, up to 40% of the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors + 12+ years experience; MBA + 10+; PharmD/PHD + 7+
  • Strong experience (10+ years) in data & analytics, including with recent medical affairs experience
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in cross-functional business environment
  • Proven leadership skills in managing people and projects both directly and via a matrixed or indirect leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with Pfizer leaders and key external stakeholders
  • Ability to partner cross culturally/regionally
  • Effective talent management
  • Effective English verbal and written communication
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP and data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules/guidance, legal and compliance, issue management, and business development opportunity evaluations
  • Ability to drive transformational change
  • Ability to lead teams and engage diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to understand applications of technology to the Life Science sector
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
