About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales in the assigned territory
- Engage with customers face to face and virtually
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans
- Identify and implement live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
- Use digital tools to maintain customer engagement
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities
- Educate providers compliantly on unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations
- Utilize approved disease-state information and patient resources
- Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives
- Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree; alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or other entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, educator roles, or full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify the candidate from being hired
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available
- Preferred: at least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
- Preferred: strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, communication skills, teamwork, leadership ability, and accountability
- Preferred: experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic area, and products
- Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
- Preferred: reside within the territory boundaries
