About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic thought partner and operational lead, or “control tower,” for the OPSA Patient Solutions Innovation team
- Develop, evolve, and lead projects and programs advancing Pfizer Oncology Patient Solutions platforms, including Pfizer Oncology Together, This is Living with Cancer, and My Healthcare Finances
- Develop and implement team priorities, evaluate strategic trade-offs, and identify downstream impacts across OPSA
- Identify and prioritize major projects, processes, and resources to support operating plans and OPSA priorities
- Link OPSA strategy and marketing initiatives to oncology imperatives and measurable organizational outcomes
- Leverage third-party, field reimbursement, patient advocacy insights, and research to assess market and patient trends
- Lead Patient Solutions strategic planning within the broader OPSA and OBU strategic planning process
- Lead Patient Solutions budget management and operating plans across teams
- Identify themes and lead initiatives to educate and train customer-facing and headquarters colleagues
- Design and execute training and communication plans supporting Pfizer Oncology Patient Solutions platforms
- Lead OPSA FBSTs and collaborate on congress strategy and execution
- Track and synthesize KPIs and program performance data for leadership and cross-functional partners
- Translate data and insights into leadership-ready presentations and communications
- Support responsible integration of AI and digital tools into patient-facing programs
- Identify opportunities to use technology, digital tools, and platforms to improve enablement and operating efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional work across OPSA, Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management, Digital, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Strategy
- Drive coordination with enablement leaders across other business units to identify synergies and share best practices
- Represent Oncology Patient Solutions and contribute to continuous improvement processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree required with 8+ years work experience or Masters with 7+ years of work experience
- Previous Marketing, Patient Solutions, Operational Excellence, Strategic and Tactical Planning Execution experience
- Experience leading others in a matrix organization with the ability to manage without direct authority
- Ability to influence key stakeholders internally and externally with proven executive communication skills and leadership qualities
- Forward-looking and results-oriented with effective planning, prioritization, and organizational project skills
- Strong and proven project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver multiple time-horizon focused projects simultaneously in the short-term and long-term
- Demonstrated experience with data, reporting, and analytics to drive strategy and inform decision-making
- Previous leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of high performance and an ability to develop and coach others
- Headquarters knowledge and experience, with proven experience working across cross-functional HQ teams, and business units
- Oncology market experience
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, predictive analytics, or digital health platforms and how they apply to patient support programs
- Experience with digital platforms, customer engagement tools, or patient support technology
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to deliver meaningful and concise presentations
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and outstanding collaboration and networking abilities
- Broad understanding of Pfizer’s Oncology Business and priorities, with existing relationships across oncology commercial and patient solutions teams
- Intrinsically motivated, self-directed, and patient-centric with a commitment to trust and integrity
- Travel required as needed based on business priorities
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
- Permanent work authorization in the United States is required
