About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead tactical execution and regional activation of national oncology advocacy sponsorships and partnerships
- Deliver or coordinate above-brand, disease-state education for patients and caregivers at community and advocacy events
- Connect patients and caregivers to appropriate advocacy resources and support
- Oversee major patient programs and drive strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate with regional and local teams, including KAD and Field Medical
- Manage sponsorship/exhibit funding requests and associated budgets
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, and deliverables across Business Unit, OPSA, and A&PR stakeholders
- Capture and report patient insights, impact, and measurable outcomes
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the oncology advocacy and professional relations ecosystem
- Share local insights and best practices with Brand, OPSA, franchise, and other Pfizer teams
- Identify solutions to complex problems, champion innovation, and implement new ideas and processes
- Organize event travel and materials and represent Pfizer at local, regional, and national advocacy events
- Adhere to CP208, Patient Engagement Lead Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree required
- 6+ years of US pharmaceutical industry and/or advocacy experience; oncology advocacy preferred
- Strong project management ability in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- High learning agility in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving settings
- Strong relationship management and written/verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of CP208
- Ability to prioritize time, resources, and external partnerships
- Self-awareness, change agility, and ability to influence without authority
- Willingness to travel up to 50%; field-based
- Ability to travel
- Weekend and evening hours may be required
- Ability to operate a Pfizer company car
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
