About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design two enterprise frameworks for developing the next generation of U.S. sales leaders
  • Map existing, legacy, and planned leader development programs across Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Oncology
  • Identify best practices and recommend an optimal enterprise framework and step-wise implementation plan
  • Inventory next-generation ABM development programs across business areas
  • Document program design, including identification and selection, assessment, curriculum, delivery model, external partners, governance, and resourcing
  • Identify common elements, differences, and the reasons for each business's program design
  • Recommend an enterprise framework with a common core and business-specific flexibility
  • Define candidate identification and selection, readiness assessment, development curriculum, learning pathways, progress tracking, external delivery partners, governance, roles, and operationalization steps
  • Assess US Commercial Key Experience domains for a sales-specific senior leadership pathway and recommend adjustments
  • Define sales-specific experiences preparing leaders to progress from RBD to VP to SVP
  • Identify enterprise roles and scopes that help build these experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 12+ years of experience
  • 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales, sales leadership, or talent development
  • Experience designing or facilitating leadership development programs, assessment centers, or talent frameworks
  • Strong facilitation skills and comfort leading working groups with senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with competency/experience-based talent frameworks, such as the 70-20-10 model
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Master's degree with at least 10+ years of experience, PhD with 7+ years of experience, or MD with 5+ years of experience (nice-to-have)
  • Prior people-management experience strongly preferred
  • Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing and guiding colleagues' work
