About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the reimbursed-channel revenue target across national and regional payers, employers, and health plans
  • Set pricing recommendations and build value stories to influence payer and employer decisions
  • Partner with enterprise Market Access on contracting execution
  • Lead customer strategy across retail pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and wholesale accounts
  • Own Medicare and Medicaid strategy and government program engagement
  • Own near-term and multi-year forecast strategy for brands and indication additions
  • Partner with Global Commercial Development to translate pipeline and business development strategy into a US launch and lifecycle plan
  • Own new-indication and lifecycle pricing strategy and define the commercial case for launch
  • Shape and drive Pfizer’s vision for the obesity portfolio with the Global team
  • Represent forecasting, access, pricing, and long-range strategy to senior Pfizer leadership
  • Lead cross-functional efforts across Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and enterprise Market Access
  • Develop leaders and account relationships as the portfolio grows
  • Deliver revenue, formulary and coverage wins, net price and deal value, affordability program reach, forecast accuracy, and long-range planning milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years in market access, payer strategy, pricing, or commercial/portfolio strategy in pharma or biotech
  • Direct revenue accountability
  • Strong storytelling capabilities to translate products into customer-supported value propositions
  • Experience building multi-year forecasts and long-range strategic plans
  • Experience partnering with global or enterprise teams on pipeline or lifecycle strategy
  • Experience with enterprise contracting, legal, and regulatory functions
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers
  • Ability to develop and coach others
  • Ability to oversee and guide colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and business impact
  • Preferred: GLP-1 category or another rapidly evolving, high-growth therapeutic area
  • Preferred: track record building creative access and pricing solutions where the reimbursement model is still being defined
  • Preferred: retail pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or wholesale account experience
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Must have permanent work authorization in the United States
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
