About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the technical direction for assigned AI initiatives
  • Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to align AI priorities with business outcomes
  • Contribute to cross-pod governance and represent the AI Accelerator in enterprise discussions
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and enable intelligent user interactions
  • Support scalable, efficient, and secure AI or data systems
  • Develop automation workflows and APIs
  • Utilize Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure and MLOps frameworks for continuous delivery
  • Ensure code quality, testing, and maintainability through best development practices
  • Support development of KPIs and success metrics for key deliverables
  • Oversee documentation, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization in agile environments
  • Ensure system monitoring, observability, and proactive issue resolution
  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency of AI systems
  • Partner with Business Translators, UI/UX, and Change Management teams to translate needs into deployable AI solutions
  • Evaluate new technologies and frameworks that enhance automation or predictive insights
  • Drive innovation through hackathons, proof-of-concepts, and vendor partnerships
  • Promote responsible AI, ethics, and compliance
  • Develop and coach others and guide colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and business impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in AI, software, or data development
  • Experience with agentic orchestration frameworks such as Langchain
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone
  • Knowledge of embedding models, RAG architecture, and LLM principles
  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare technology environments preferred
  • Familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, and data privacy regulations preferred
