About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner cross-functionally with the US Hospital Business Unit Commercial Team, Account Management, Finance, USMA, PGS, and related groups
- Serve as an engaged member of US Hospital portfolio Triads and support the Specialty Portfolio Lead
- Analyze, interpret, and translate internal and external data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Partner with the US Hospital Pricing Lead on pricing and contracting strategies and monitor their performance
- Develop pricing recommendations and customer strategies for RFPs, price challenges, and contracting decisions
- Monitor external trends and market dynamics that may affect the business
- Lead the weekly Run-the-Business process for the assigned portfolio
- Support Go-To-Market processes through market analyses for product launches, private-label launches, returns to market, and line extensions
- Develop, redesign, and enhance analytics tools, reports, and processes
- Provide strategic guidance to maximize US Hospital portfolio performance
- Support Latest Estimates and Operating Plans to align with business strategy and maximize return on investment
- Promote Pfizer values and culture and support colleague growth and development
- Collaboratively address organizational pain points and feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with at least 6+ years of experience; OR master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience; OR PhD with 1+ years of experience
- 5+ years of broad experience in the generic pharmaceutical or related industry, with emphasis on strategic and analytical roles in a multi-source product environment
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
- Strong project and process management and leadership skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the complex generic market, including product, contracting, and pricing strategies; product and customer profitability; and gross-to-net sales accounting
- Excellent analytical, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize sales, market, and financial data from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple critical and complex projects, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines
- General understanding of government pricing programs related to pharmaceutical products, including FSS and PHS 340b
- Ability to build and maintain dashboards using Tableau preferred
- Experience supporting acute care hospitals or alternate sites preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and fulfill all role requirements while working in person within a Pfizer site
- Able to travel to support business needs (< 10-15% travel)
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
