About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain business rules and analytics behind the field alert strategy
  • Deliver real-time, data-driven signals to field-based customer-facing colleagues through tools such as PinPoint
  • Monitor alert performance and patient signals and recommend business-rule refinements
  • Measure the impact of field tools and capabilities with Enablement, CRM, Brand, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Build and run analyses informing sales-force size, structure, territory alignment, resource allocation, and deployment
  • Assess sales-force effectiveness and develop recommendations with the Director, Field & Account Strategy
  • Deliver account-level insights on market dynamics, growth potential, and competitive activity
  • Build performance metrics, market-potential assessments, and competitive-dynamics reviews for account directors
  • Support integrated account planning and run customer-segmentation analytics
  • Connect Customer Strategy with Patient Solutions on field execution, account dynamics, and patient access
  • Integrate patient-services signals into field and account analytics and share insights with Patient Solutions
  • Manage cross-functional work through analysis and follow-through
  • Build analytics fluency with sales and account partners
  • Mentor junior IIS colleagues and manage contingent workers on assigned projects as appropriate
  • May manage project-level spend for primary market research and analytics vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field required
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial analytics, commercial strategy, management consulting, or a combination thereof
  • 3+ years of hands-on field, account, or customer analytics, ideally supporting sales or account teams
  • Proven track record of framing problems and delivering analytic solutions for challenging business situations
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines
  • Experience supporting both marketing and sales or field organizations
  • Hands-on experience with field-effectiveness or account analytics, including field-force sizing and structure, territory alignment and deployment, CRM, or customer and account planning
  • Experience integrating and interpreting claims, specialty pharmacy, hub and patient services, CRM, market access, account, and performance data
  • Ability to influence without authority and serve as a trusted thought partner
  • Collaborative approach and outstanding listening skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
