About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to and potentially lead multidisciplinary teams at the sub-function level
  • Develop plans and manage resources for sub-function projects

  • Present scientific findings and developed technologies in meetings
  • Publish relevant articles in scientific journals
  • Apply tumor biology, immuno-oncology, and translational research expertise to advance cancer vaccines and related immunotherapeutic approaches
  • Interact extensively with Research and non-Research functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD/JD with at least eight 8 years of experience or MD/DVM with at least 2 years of experience
  • Experience independently designing and executing experiments investigating immunologic mechanisms modulating adaptive immune response against tumor antigens
  • Leadership capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers
  • Ability to develop and coach others and oversee and guide colleagues’ work
  • In-depth understanding of dendritic cell biology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Preferred: Experience with mammalian cells and functional assays, particularly neutralization assays
  • Preferred: Expertise in biologics lead generation methods
  • Preferred: Experience mentoring and developing junior scientists
  • Preferred: Ability to present complex scientific data to varied audiences
  • Preferred: Track record of publishing in high-impact scientific journals
  • Preferred: Experience using common AI tools, including ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
  • Preferred: Curiosity about responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
