Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, mentor, and direct matrix colleagues, analysts, managers, contractors, and vendor resources
Own the global GMX data, analytics, and reporting solution portfolio across SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP S/4HANA integrations, and related platforms
Provide strategic direction for GMX solution design, data architecture, reporting enablement, operational stability, and modernization
Drive GMX data and analytics roadmap planning
Manage demand pipelines, prioritization, delivery roadmaps, KPIs, OKRs, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints
Serve as senior GMX solution subject matter leader for Finance, Controllers, Digital, SAP platform teams, and business stakeholders
Lead governance discussions, design reviews, roadmap sessions, escalation forums, and executive updates
Translate complex SAP, Finance, GMX, and data architecture topics into business recommendations
Lead end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, stabilization, and support transition
Drive root-cause analysis and remediation for production issues, data defects, reconciliation breaks, and process inefficiencies
Guide SAP BW data acquisition, modeling, query development, BPC planning, and Analysis for Office capabilities
Oversee validation and reconciliation between BW/BPC outputs and source SAP systems
Establish governance standards for GMX data, analytics, reporting, certifications, reconciliations, and documentation
Ensure adherence to SDLC, change control, testing, validation, audit, compliance, and data governance requirements
Maintain audit-ready artifacts, process documentation, control evidence, and operational playbooks
Provide risk assessment, mitigation planning, leadership updates, governance materials, and escalation recommendations
Drive adoption through demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, training support, and stakeholder engagement
Support budgeting, forecasting, estimation, cost management, vendor resources, and project execution
Provide occasional evening/weekend support and limited domestic or international travel as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience in SAP BW, SAP BPC, Finance data solutions, enterprise reporting, or data platform delivery
Hands-on leadership in DataSources, ODQ, InfoPackages, DTPs, process chains, and delta load management
Experience with Advanced DSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Analytic Indexes, and ABAP transformation routines
Experience with BEx Query Designer or BW Modeling Tools, calculated/restricted key figures, variables, exceptions, and conditions
Experience building and maintaining Analysis for Office workbooks and input-ready planning templates
Experience with BPC planning functions, FOX formula scripts, data manager packages, planning sequences, and input schedules
In-depth ABAP programming knowledge
End-to-end troubleshooting across extraction, transformation, loading, query performance, and BPC planning
Deep experience with GMX, EarnIn, Finance close, certifications, reconciliations, or related financial reporting processes
Demonstrated experience with SAP BPC Standard or Embedded, including planning model configuration, logic scripts/FOX formulas, input schedules, and consolidation processes
Experience leading teams, managing direct reports, or directing matrixed and/or contracted resources
Functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution, including pricing condition technique
Working knowledge of SAP Material Master data concepts
Finance domain knowledge in Product Costing and General Ledger
Understanding of Finance master data governance
Exceptional verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with SOX, GMP, audit, compliance, validation, or financial control expectations
Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
