  • Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and quality of patient care

  • Assess account and business landscapes and connect insights with Pfizer products and resources
  • Promote a broad portfolio of products
  • Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts
  • Develop comprehensive territory, account and customer plans
  • Maintain relationships throughout institutions
  • Overcome obstacles to access difficult-to-see health care providers and customers
  • Cultivate relationships with KOLs and top-priority customers
  • Assess target physician and account needs and address them with appropriate resources
  • Engage, influence and support customers throughout the selling process
  • Work in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources to meet customer needs and deliver results
  • Cover Baltimore and surrounding territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high influence customers
  • Demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional experience
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s technology model
  • 3–5 years of Oncology sales experience preferred
  • Experience in Hematology Therapeutic Area preferred
  • Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers and Key Opinion Leaders preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree preferred
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available
