About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide performance metrics measuring operations and quality for Clinical Development & Operations stakeholders
  • Define and use performance metrics to measure, control, and improve operational and quality performance
  • Liaise with stakeholders and team members to measure process control, mitigate risk, confirm process improvements, and identify optimization opportunities
  • Design, implement, and maintain reports, performance dashboards, and stakeholder presentations
  • Analyze and present internal and external data covering quality, speed, cost, and productivity
  • Measure performance against operational targets aligned with Pfizer’s vision and goals
  • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Databricks and Alteryx
  • Write SQL queries and Python scripts to curate, manipulate, and analyze large clinical and operational datasets
  • Develop visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire
  • Verify data accuracy and completeness before publishing stakeholder materials
  • Support senior team members with analytics, reporting, and data-driven enrollment scenarios
  • Apply Generative AI capabilities, including prompt engineering, RAG, and large language models, to analytics deliverables
  • Contribute to designing, building, and deploying AI agents using code and frameworks such as LangChain
  • Foster innovation, experimentation with emerging technologies, and strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in analytics, particularly technical data curation and manipulation
  • Demonstrated experience manipulating large data sets, integrating data across multiple sources, and structuring data for analysis
  • Strong hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries against relational and cloud data warehouses
  • Proficiency with Python and data-analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and matplotlib/seaborn
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operating end-to-end data pipelines using solutions such as Databricks and Alteryx
  • Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise BI/visualization tool: Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Generative AI foundations, including prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs, and applying RAG patterns to enterprise data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with teams
  • Preferred: MS/MBA
  • Preferred: practical Databricks experience with notebooks, workflows, and Spark-based data processing
  • Preferred: experience building and deploying AI agents using code, including LangChain, tool use, orchestration, evaluation, packaging, containerization, API exposure, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Preferred: knowledge of clinical trial and regulatory processes
  • Preferred: experience of drug discovery and development in a global matrix organization
  • Preferred: exposure to modern data platforms and cloud analytics ecosystems
