About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and lead the enablement agenda for the Specialty Care KAM organization
- Translate franchise priorities into engagement frameworks, account prioritization processes, capability building, and measurable results
- Own the operating system for Specialty Care KAM teams, including alignment and deployment, CRM, data and license investments, budget, SOPs, national meetings, and recognition
- Deliver operating plans through continuous improvement, insight generation, and disciplined program management
- Partner with leadership to set the annual enablement agenda and identify productivity, efficiency, and results initiatives
- Lead evolution and deployment of the KAM and SCG engagement framework and account prioritization model
- Apply third-party and customer research to shape the Specialty Care operating plan and assess market impact
- Generate insights, develop strategies, and present recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead onboarding, Fast Start, training coordination, platform curriculum, and capability sustainment
- Own KAM alignment across Specialty Care through PfizerAlign, including account alignments, territory development, organizational realignments, secondments, product alignments, platform access, and DL alignments
- Lead KAM CRM strategy, change control, and maintenance; triage field service requests and safeguard reporting and analytics integrity
- Own the Specialty Care KAM enablement budget, including planning, requests, tracking, and variance management
- Manage third-party database and information licenses and recommend investment changes based on utilization and return on investment
- Develop, maintain, and monitor KAM operational SOPs
- Plan, produce, and execute national calls and regional and national meetings
- Manage the KAM recognition platform
- Coordinate executive field and account engagements and support planning for major congresses
- Deliver CRM, business review, account alignment, and overlap reporting
- Lead continuous improvement projects that create consistency and advance operating plan execution
- Drive adoption of AI and digital tools to improve KAM productivity and reduce operational burden
- Build cross-functional partnerships across platforms and business units
- Lead with indirect authority across a matrix to deliver business outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Pfizer Values and OWN IT principles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing or sales experience
- Extensive external healthcare market and advanced customer and health system knowledge
- Headquarters experience working across cross functional departments, teams, and business units
- Demonstrated ownership of commercial operating infrastructure such as field alignment, CRM, budgets, or data and vendor agreements
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead with indirect authority
- Proven program and project management skills, delivering multiple near term and long term priorities simultaneously
- Strong strategic skills, including identifying and addressing major challenges such as new competition or a shifting market
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for senior leadership and external audiences
- 5+ years of key account management, operations /strategy, or sales leadership experience with a strong history of performance
- Rare Disease, Dermatology experience preferred
- Experience supporting customer facing teams across multiple franchises or therapeutic areas
- Prior promoted leadership roles with a track record of results in direct or matrix leadership positions
- Advanced degree preferred

- Up to 50% travel may be required
