About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
- Engage regularly with customers in the field through live and virtual interactions
- Launch new products
- Develop strategies to manage business relationships
- Understand and secure formulary access
- Conduct product promotion within the assigned geography
- Drive sales and develop relationships with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans
- Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
- Build rapport and relationships with customers using digital tools and platforms
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
- Use approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
- Identify market barriers and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail and other channels
- Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
- Complete administrative activities, including customer call entry, expense submission and responses to sales leadership and internal partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Professional Sales or Promotional Activity, Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles; educator roles; or full-time military experience
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical related marketing preferred
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success preferred
- Strong territory management skills preferred
- Outstanding communications skills preferred
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability preferred
- Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
- Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
- Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
- Position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
