About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Engage with customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans and live/virtual engagement strategies
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
  • Use digital tools and multi-platforms for customer engagement
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Compliantly leverage product and disease state knowledge using approved information and patient resources
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail and other business channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete administrative expectations, including customer call entry, expense submission and responding to internal requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, educator roles, or full-time military experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing preferred
  • Prior vaccines experience strongly preferred
  • Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, communications skills, teamwork, leadership ability and accountability preferred
  • Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
  • Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
  • Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
