About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote Pfizer’s Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Launch new products and develop strategies to manage business relationships
  • Understand and secure formulary access
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Engage customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer-engagement strategies
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Use approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across relevant business channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete administrative responsibilities, including customer-call entry, expense submission, and responding to internal requests
  • Work remotely with cross-functional internal teams while conducting regular live in-field customer engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or other entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
  • Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
  • Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
