About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Engage customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
  • Build and maintain customer relationships in live and virtual environments
  • Use digital tools and platforms to support customer engagement
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Use approved clinically oriented disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across public health, private market and retail channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete customer call entries, expense submissions and other administrative requirements on time and compliantly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity; small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience; marketing, customer service and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles; educator roles; or full-time military experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
  • Preferred: strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communications skills, teamwork, leadership ability and accountability
  • Preferred: experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products
  • Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
  • Preferred: reside within the territory boundaries
