About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Elevate Associate capability and service excellence across Club Fitting, STUDIO, Club Repair, Instruction, and KPI execution
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality training across assigned stores, including onboarding, certification preparation, live coaching, practicums, and ongoing reinforcement
  • Use reporting tools to measure Associate and store performance and drive behavioral change through training, development, and partnership with Field Leaders
  • Deliver training programs covering Club Fitting, STUDIO operations, Golf Simulation, and Club Repair
  • Lead performance discussions with Field Leaders and General Managers regarding STUDIO Fitters and Instructors; support data collection and report on turnover mitigation
  • Lead store execution of Clinics and Seminars and develop experiences that drive repeat participation in SASS and Leagues
  • Evaluate and drive STUDIO and Club Repair KPIs, including sales, talent evaluation, acceleration, scheduling, and occupancy
  • Conduct hands-on training, practice sessions, observation, and re-certification assessments for Golf Services roles
  • Serve as the primary training resource for new hires, newly promoted Associates, and Associates preparing for certification
  • Train Associates and store leaders on KPI definitions, measurement, and behavior-driven performance execution
  • Coach Associates on interpreting reports, identifying trends, and executing performance-improvement actions
  • Conduct routine store visits to observe standards, coach Associates, and assess Club Fitter and Club Repair readiness
  • Provide temporary in-store support during extended staffing gaps
  • Maintain foundational fitting and repair skills for occasional floor support
  • Assist Store Leaders with evaluating candidates and identifying future talent
  • Communicate progress, store readiness, development needs, and trends to Field Leaders and training partners
  • Use fitting technologies, including launch monitors and OEM-specific fitting tools
  • Train Associates on hardware, software, tools, and maintenance for STUDIO and Repair operations
  • Collaborate with the Performance Center team on instruction, Club repair, and fitting processes
  • Partner with Store Leadership to uphold operational consistency, service standards, and customer-experience expectations
  • Adhere to loss prevention programs and provide feedback on loss prevention issues and opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • PGA certification or equivalent instruction credentials preferred
  • 3–5 years of golf industry, training, or specialized service experience preferred
  • Prior roles involving coaching, multi-store support, or field training are a plus
  • Ability to evaluate store needs and determine appropriate training strategies without direct oversight
  • Skilled at delivering structured training, diagnosing performance gaps, and adjusting approach to store-specific needs
  • Ability to interpret KPIs and teach stores how to track and improve performance
  • Ability to manage travel schedules, multi-store priorities, competing deadlines, and multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and fitting/instruction technology, including TrackMan, SAM PuttLab, USchedule, and V1 Sports
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, lift up to 30 lbs. overhead, and work in simulator environments
  • Must maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong self-accountability, professionalism, and proactive drive for results
  • Must travel 50–60%
