About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the senior executive responsible for building and leading Piedmont Global’s Data Solutions division
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer and coordinate with the Chief Revenue Officer on go-to-market strategy, pipeline development, and commercial execution
  • Take ownership of an acquired data business with existing U.S. operations and scale it into an enterprise-grade division
  • Own delivery performance, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and at target margins
  • Integrate acquired data capabilities, teams, workflows, delivery models, and reporting structures
  • Establish delivery standards, SOPs, and SLAs
  • Align commercial commitments, technical feasibility, delivery capacity, and margin targets
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and build scalable operating infrastructure
  • Build and execute the Data Solutions go-to-market strategy
  • Develop enterprise pipeline, secure new data business, and build recurring revenue
  • Establish pricing models, deal-structuring standards, and commercial governance
  • Lead strategic sales conversations and executive-level enterprise relationships
  • Maintain visibility into revenue, cost structure, and margin health
  • Partner on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Design sales systems, reporting, pipeline rigor, qualification standards, and opportunity criteria
  • Establish workflows between sales, delivery, and finance
  • Refine service offerings with Piedmont’s AI/data solutions partner
  • Shape packaging, positioning, and commercial structure for the U.S. market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning operations, commercial functions, and finance
  • Proven track record in a COO, GM, or senior operational role with direct revenue accountability and cross-functional scope
  • Experience in AI data, GenAI, LLM data, speech, or adjacent technical services verticals
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling businesses
  • Comfortable leading across sales, partnerships, delivery, marketing, and operations simultaneously
  • Experience integrating acquired businesses and building post-acquisition operating models
  • Skilled in pricing strategy, margin management, pipeline rigor, and enterprise deal structuring
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to operate independently across time zones
  • International perspective with deep understanding of U.S. enterprise market dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in building revenue infrastructure
  • Operational leadership experience with strong margin awareness and cost discipline
  • Comfort selling and delivering ambiguous, custom-scoped projects
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • High ownership mentality with ability to operate across functions and geographies
