About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage an end-to-end product portfolio, from raw materials through finished products delivered to customers
  • Manage the Supply Chain Analysts under your supervision and act as the functional leader of the contract manufacturing team
  • Coordinate the team’s activities and priorities
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet customer needs while optimizing inventory and costs
  • Translate demand into operational requirements, taking production cycles, partner challenges, and constraints into account
  • Analyze supply chain KPIs, identify issues, and implement action plans
  • Define and execute procurement and inventory strategies
  • Analyze market risks and opportunities and recommend actions to business units
  • Participate in planning and executing commercialization strategies, including new product launches
  • Coach, guide, mentor, and support analysts
  • Manage analysts’ performance and development
  • Review analyses and recommendations
  • Prepare and facilitate S&OP reviews
  • Provide strategic recommendations on inventory, capacity, and risk
  • Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, including AI-related projects
  • Act as the operational escalation point

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers outside the province of Quebec
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain best practices
  • Knowledge of contract manufacturing procurement policies and regulations; pharmaceutical industry experience is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, rigor, and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Proven leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent synthesis and executive communication abilities
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain management
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, integrated planning, or S&OP
  • Experience in mentoring, functional leadership, or team coordination
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, management, or a relevant combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is an asset
