Key responsibilities & impact

Independently plan, prepare, and conduct primarily technical, as well as functional, tests within a Scrum team
Create test cases based on specifications and the results of verbal discussions
Manually test software and create and maintain test scripts
Record and track defects in Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Maintain and optimize test data and test environments
Review online help, manuals, and other program documentation
Process and analyze quality-related feedback from Support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, or an equivalent qualification
Experience in software testing, ideally with ISTQB certification
SQL skills for querying the Microsoft SQL database
Ability to read and interpret XML files
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
Initial experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies is an advantage
Experience with PowerShell or programming skills in C# is an advantage
