About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and maintain technical product documentation for industry-specific software products
- Document new features
- Continuously enhance online help systems
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and currency of documentation
- Write clear, precise, and engaging documentation for customers
- Work closely with Software Development, Product Management, and Quality Assurance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree, further training, or comparable qualification in technical writing
- Experience creating technical documentation
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and in a way appropriate for the target audience
- Independent and structured approach to work
- Enjoyment of learning about new topics
- Strong affinity for IT and keen interest in software products
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Ideally, experience with MadCap Flare or a comparable XML-based authoring system
- Basic knowledge of XML, HTML, and CSS
