About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the division’s business strategy through the sales process to meet or exceed defined sales goals/quotas
- Establish relationships with customers from frontline staff to decision makers
- Understand customer priorities and propose solutions based on present and future needs
- Schedule customer visits and follow up after sales
- Install and train customers on equipment
- Resolve service issues
- Collaborate with channel partners/distributors to maximize selling opportunities
- Manage customer expectations and detail Epredia’s value proposition
- Coordinate internally to ensure customer needs are met
- Use Salesforce.com to document sales forecasts and identify growth opportunities
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends within the territory
- Attend state, regional, and national trade shows as applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience selling medical or laboratory capital equipment and/or consumable types of products
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience in the clinical and/or histology laboratory space
- Experience working with Channel Partners is highly preferred
- Ability to travel overnight up to 50%
