About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of water management services for hospitals and hospitality clients
  • Drive client retention and foster long-term client relationships
  • Serve as the primary client contact and ensure stakeholder alignment and satisfaction
  • Develop project execution plans and coordinate with site-level contacts
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, water quality specialists, and infection control professionals
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare and hospitality water safety standards, including CDC and ASHRAE guidelines
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation
  • Support staff education on water management implementation, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Review quality-team audit reports and address findings with clients
  • Prepare and present progress reports, performance metrics, and final deliverables to leadership
  • Manage third-party vendors and subcontractors
  • Manage contract renewals, including documentation, scope review, negotiations, and purchase-order delivery
  • Plan, execute, and deliver water management projects in hospital and healthcare environments
  • Support clients in reducing waterborne pathogen risks, optimizing water-system performance, and implementing sustainable water safety programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience managing technical or environmental projects, preferably in healthcare facilities
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within scope
  • Proven ability to manage contract renewal processes
  • Experience developing and implementing client retention strategies
  • Knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems, including potable water, cooling towers, steam, and HVAC
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE 188, CMS Legionella requirements, and related water safety standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Frequent travel to client sites within a region
  • Ability to conduct meetings and maintain professional attire
  • Ability to walk, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Experience with infection prevention, facilities management, or environmental health teams in hospitals preferred
  • Understanding of water testing, treatment, and Legionella risk management practices preferred
