About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of water management services for hospital and hospitality clients
  • Drive client retention and serve as the primary client contact
  • Identify additional sales opportunities and generate qualified leads
  • Develop execution plans aligned with scope of work
  • Coordinate with engineering, water quality, and infection control professionals
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with CDC, ANSI/ASHRAE, ANSI/AAMI, CMS, and Joint Commission standards
  • Maintain complete project documentation in Phigenics systems
  • Support client staff education and water management training
  • Review quality audit reports and address findings
  • Prepare and present progress reports, performance metrics, and deliverables
  • Coordinate vendors and subcontractors
  • Own contract renewals, including scope review, negotiations, and purchase order follow-up
  • Attend client kickoff meetings and conduct on-site surveys
  • Develop risk characterization matrices and sampling plans
  • Facilitate remote and on-site Water Management Team meetings
  • Document meeting notes, action items, recommendations, and decisions in PhiAnalytics
  • Interpret validation results and provide guidance within 24–48 hours
  • Conduct annual reassessments and business reviews
  • Support accreditation surveys and standards compliance
  • Provide technical consultation and emergent water system event support
  • Coordinate validation testing, retesting, and additional testing
  • Use HubSpot, ClickUp, PhiAnalytics, Power BI, RAMP, and Jira to document and manage work
  • Support monthly financial closeout and record travel and expenses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience managing technical or environmental projects, preferably in healthcare facilities
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and in alignment with scope
  • Proven ability to manage contract renewal processes
  • Experience developing and implementing client retention strategies
  • Knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems, including potable water, cooling towers, steam, and HVAC
  • Familiarity with ANSI/ASHRAE 188, ANSI/ASHRAE 514, ANSI/AAMI 108, CMS Legionella requirements, and related water safety standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with project- and task-management platforms; HubSpot, ClickUp, or comparable CRM/work-management systems strongly preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Experience with infection prevention, facilities management, or environmental health teams in hospitals preferred
  • Understanding of water testing, treatment, and Legionella risk management practices preferred
  • Experience with Power BI preferred
  • Frequent travel to client sites within a region is required
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary
  • Physical activity may include walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Availability for after-hours or expedited support may be required
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
