About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Director of Field Services
- Provide service and account management support for clients in a region
- Service existing clients by taking water tests and maintaining equipment
- Assist in maintaining Comprehensive Water Management Programs
- Analyze microbiological and water chemistry data
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to client requests
- Perform minor maintenance on water monitoring equipment
- Take on-site chlorine, temperature, and pH readings using testing instruments
- Collect building water samples for laboratory cultures
- Mentor or train peers after becoming fully trained
- Travel to client sites and occasionally support other regions
- Work approximately 55–60 hours per month
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must live near Des Moines, IA
- Background in science, engineering, or mathematics preferred
- Ability to learn how to use equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant in water
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated and directed; "Can do" attitude
- Strong desire to learn new concepts
- Demonstrate commitment to high ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Understand and use MS Office, Gmail, and various Google applications
- Ability to travel to client sites within approximately 300 miles of Des Moines, IA
- Ability to wear PPE when required
- Ability to walk extensively around client sites, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
