About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage customer relationships through effective technical knowledge
  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites
  • Provide customer service by meeting customer entitlements, setting expectations, and resolving needs
  • Understand customers’ businesses and competitive environments; generate service revenue
  • Participate in the regional work team and improve team processes
  • Identify training gaps and increase capability and capacity, including qualification in multiple modalities and learning new tools
  • Complete administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventive maintenance, installation documents, and site/service documentation
  • Follow training, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Use tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to resolve customer and system problems
  • Complete preventive maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems
  • Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, with 1–4 hours of daily driving and occasional overnight, air, or train travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries
  • Preferred experience in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), and/or Diagnostic Xray (DXR) imaging equipment
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
  • Knowledge and use of necessary tools and test equipment
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements for the Field Service position, with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work in office/home office, remote, and hospital/healthcare environments
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Must have US work authorization; sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Rapid City, South Dakota
