About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage customer relationships through effective technical knowledge
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites
- Provide customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times, and resolving customer needs
- Understand customers’ businesses and competitive environments and generate service revenue
- Participate in the regional work team, improve team processes, and identify training gaps
- Increase capability and capacity, including qualification in multiple modalities and learning new tools
- Complete administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documents, and site/service documentation
- Adhere to training, quality, safety, Philips, State, and Federal regulatory requirements
- Use tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to resolve customer and system problems
- Complete preventive maintenance, field change orders, installations, and related tasks
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems
- Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, with average daily driving of 1–4 hours and occasional overnight, air, or train travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment or 3+ years of experience in other electromechanical industries
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Knowledge and use of necessary tools and test equipment
- Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and listed experience
- Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including 2nd or 3rd shifts, weekends, on-call, and mandatory extra hours
- Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear required personal protective equipment
- US work authorization required; candidates requiring sponsorship are not considered
- Must reside in or within commuting distance to Kansas City, KS/MO
