About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop a successful sales strategy to technically differentiate Philips’ hospital patient monitoring solutions
  • Serve as the key interface between Philips and customers regarding solution design
  • Partner with clinical experts and sales personnel to position Philips products and solutions
  • Understand customer goals and workflows and recommend solutions for effective and efficient patient care
  • Provide technical expertise on hospital patient monitoring and medical device integration
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers on complex solution selling and healthcare workflow initiatives
  • Help define and control the Market 2 Order implementation process, including Statements of Work and VAS scope of work
  • Deliver customer presentations focused on technical value propositions and current-state/future-state proposals
  • Own request-for-proposals strategy and quotations
  • Support sales leaders in balanced selling, annual operating plan attainment, business plan development, scorecards, and forecasting
  • Provide Sales Support and Marketing with input on sales tools, pricing, quoting, competitive threats, and product expansion
  • Monitor competition and industry changes and provide feedback to Sales and Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR minimum 1 year of experience with a Master’s degree in Business Development, Clinical Sales, Service, or an equivalent field
  • Experience with healthcare and IT technologies, including EHR workflows; exposure to Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is a plus
  • Experience working with Visio required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or an equivalent field
  • Working knowledge of HL7 and IHE required
  • Understanding of DICOM, FHIR, XML, WCTP, TAP, and SIP is helpful
  • Strong understanding of networking and virtualization required
  • Results-oriented approach and take-charge attitude balanced with teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong business cases for solutions with prospects, along with solid documentation skills
  • Must be within a one-hour driving distance of a major airport
  • Bilingual French and English proficiency, both written and verbal, required
  • Canadian work authorization is a condition of employment; candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered
  • Must reside in Quebec or within the Eastern Canada territory
