Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and ensure terms align with company goals, legal requirements, and organizational standards
  • Provide strategic guidance on high-value, complex GPO and enterprise contracts to senior leadership, the C-suite, and key stakeholders
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and execute intricate contracts
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Resolve complex contractual disputes
  • Ensure contractual terms can be operationalized across fulfillment, invoicing, and downstream processes
  • Partner with sales, operations, legal, and other functions on RFP/RFI/RFQ efforts
  • Improve contract processes and tools
  • Mentor team members
  • Contribute to policy and strategy development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex enterprise commercial contracts within a technology-based company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law or equivalent
  • Legal Degree preferred
  • Experience drafting and negotiating GPO contracts
  • Solution-focused problem-solving
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Conga/Apttus, and Adobe Sign
  • Lean process training is a bonus
  • Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, persuasion, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven workplace
  • Flexible hours with 10% travel based on customer needs and business expectations required
  • Must successfully perform minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
  • US work authorization required; candidates requiring current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA
  • No company relocation benefits provided
