About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-line technical support for PACS systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues to maintain system stability and customer satisfaction
- Receive, prioritize, and manage service requests across multiple communication channels
- Document support activities and resolutions in the service management system
- Escalate complex technical issues and collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Ensure support activities comply with regulatory requirements
- Communicate solutions and next steps clearly to customers
- Participate in ongoing training and knowledge development
- Contribute to continuous service improvement
- Support a critical hospital customer in a field-based role, generally outside company facilities at customer or supplier locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field with vocational education, or a bachelor’s degree with no prior experience required
- Experience with PACS, imaging informatics, or Philips Vue PACS preferred; direct Philips Vue PACS experience is a plus but not required
- Troubleshooting, customer service, technical documentation, service operations, and resolving technical issues in a structured support environment
- High school diploma, vocational education, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Medical field, a Science-related field, or an equivalent discipline
- Strong on-premises IT, root cause analysis, product installation, product repair and maintenance, and KPI-based service performance monitoring
- Collaborative communication, effective cross-team working relationships, clear technical documentation, and informed decision-making under direct supervision
- Experience with regulatory compliance, data analysis and interpretation, and supporting customers in critical service environments is a plus
- Ability to meet the stated physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
- US work authorization required; candidates requiring current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New England territory
- Relocation benefits will not be provided
