About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work effectively across Group Brand & Marketing and Corporate Affairs & Brand
  • Support the Senior Social Media Lead in delivering a market-leading brand and content experience
  • Assist with planning, creation, analysis and coordination of social media and marketing content across Standard Life and wider Group initiatives
  • Contribute to content production, channel management, event support and customer experience delivery
  • Develop skills in brand governance and performance analysis
  • Apply brand, compliance and quality standards to ensure outputs meet Group standards
  • Apply brand governance and regulatory requirements to support consistent, high-quality brand execution
  • Collaborate across the Brand Marketing & Experience team to ensure consistent, engaging and compliant brand activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic understanding of marketing, content or social media principles
  • Awareness of how brand, content, social media and marketing activities work together across a wider marketing system
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working with colleagues across Group Brand & Marketing, Channel Marketing and other internal teams
  • Comfortable using or exploring AI-enabled tools
  • Willingness to learn and enhance content planning, social analytics and productivity while meeting brand, regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Curiosity, initiative and a growth mindset
  • A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Brand, Marketing or a related discipline is preferable
  • Some experience in a professional or office environment would be beneficial
  • Experience using MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel to create reports and presentations
