About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Financial Advisers in the wealth area to identify and secure profitable opportunities for Standard Life Group
  • Drive business levels across the retail intermediary investment proposition and retirement and long-term savings products
  • Engage with and regularly meet advisers face to face and virtually across a specified region
  • Identify business needs, outline the value proposition and follow up within agreed timescales
  • Keep client records up to date
  • Produce business plans defining strategic interventions to exceed national and business centre targets across Pension and Investment products
  • Identify and exploit local and regional growth opportunities
  • Analyse business plans, panel and sales MI to drive actions and inform future direction
  • Present product and investment proposition information at internal and external events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven high achiever well versed in exceeding targets on a regular basis
  • Experience engaging with and regularly meeting Financial Advisers
  • Ability to build, maintain and develop adviser relationships
  • Ability to achieve targeted business activity and meet targets
  • Ability to identify business needs and outline the value proposition
  • Ability to produce business plans for an aligned area
  • Ability to analyse business plans, panel and sales MI
  • Ability to present product and investment proposition information to varied audiences
