Develop coding, debugging, testing and version-control skills through practical work
Contribute bug fixes and small enhancements to customer-facing software

Use AI tools as part of the engineering workflow

Requirements

What you’ll need

Third-level education in a related field, or a relevant certification supported by strong evidence of personal projects
Qualification completed within the last two years
No more than two years' experience in a related role
Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Java, Kotlin or JavaScript
Understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design
Awareness of REST APIs and relational databases
Some experience of coding, testing or collaborative development through studies, personal projects, an internship or another learning experience
Curiosity, willingness to ask questions and openness to feedback
Clear communication and a collaborative approach
Interest in the people who use what you build
Sense of ownership over learning and assigned tasks
Flexibility to adapt as you develop
