About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the evolution of People Operations and create frameworks, processes, and programs for company growth
- Design and implement scalable People Operations practices that improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience
- Establish operational excellence through documentation, governance models, playbooks, and service standards
- Develop service level agreements and success metrics and improve performance against them
- Partner with senior leaders across Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Facilities, IT, and Legal
- Provide workforce insights and recommendations on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, compensation, and employee experience
- Advise leaders through organizational change while balancing employee needs and business goals
- Use data and operational insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Lead and enhance compensation programs excluding equity compensation
- Drive the annual compensation review process and compensation governance
- Design and maintain people policies across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and future international markets
- Partner with Legal and business leaders on compliance requirements
- Own HR systems and tools strategy, implementation, and optimization
- Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, vendor partnerships, and renewals
- Champion data quality, reporting, and governance
- Lead global benefits strategy and development
- Manage benefits renewals, benchmarking, enhancements, and employee access
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or related disciplines
- Experience supporting organizations through significant growth and scale
- Proven success building and operationalizing people programs, systems, and infrastructure
- Experience working across multiple employment jurisdictions, ideally including Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom
- Deep expertise in HR technology, workforce analytics, reporting, and operational excellence
- Experience with HiBob, JIRA, payroll systems, or major HR technology implementations is an asset
- Strong experience designing and administering compensation and benefits programs
- Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Strong business acumen, systems thinking, and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and partnership skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Natural curiosity and desire to continuously improve how work gets done
