About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support complex commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing
- Draft, review, and manage transaction documents, including PAs, leases, estoppels, SNDAs, assignments, deeds, and closing statements
- Order and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, UCC/litigation/bankruptcy searches, and prepare objection letters/summaries
- Manage critical dates and coordinate with title and survey companies
- Order reports, handle wire transfers, and ensure all closing conditions are met
- Prepare closing documents and instruction letters
- Oversee final execution and funding of complex commercial deals
- Assist attorneys with complex legal tasks, research, and compliance with real estate laws
- Liaise between attorneys, clients, title agents, lenders, and other transaction professionals
- Follow ethical requirements set forth by the Firm’s professional liability insurer
- Perform other tasks as requested or needed
- Report to the local HR Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 8 - 10 years in related law firm experience as a Real Estate Paralegal required
- Strong understanding of real estate law, title procedures, and contract terms
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients and provide information with courtesy and tact in person, electronically, and by phone
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
