About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary Support Office contact for franchise owners within an assigned territory
  • Help franchisees improve retail and pool service sales, profitability, inventory productivity, and operational execution
  • Support product sell-in and consumer sell-through by helping franchisees plan purchases, execute promotions, and convert inventory into profitable sales
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of franchisee meetings, business reviews, field visits, and documented follow-up
  • Review store financial and operating results to identify performance gaps and implement practical improvement actions
  • Coach franchisees on retail operations, pool service growth, customer acquisition and retention, staffing, local marketing, and business execution
  • Track agreed actions, monitor progress, and escalate significant or unresolved concerns to Franchise Operations leadership
  • Coach franchisees on Pinch A Penny’s retail, pool service, customer experience, and brand standards
  • Help franchisees grow recurring pool service customers and strengthen coordination between retail and service operations
  • Conduct annual Brand Standards Certification reviews and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support implementation of new products, promotions, technology, training, and systemwide initiatives
  • Ensure franchisees and teams execute merchandising, promotional, product knowledge, pricing, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Connect franchisees with Support Office departments or approved vendor resources
  • Communicate store-level feedback and recurring field issues to Franchise Operations leadership and Support Office teams
  • Participate in transitioning new locations to ongoing Franchise Operations support
  • Document franchisee interactions, field visits, performance plans, and follow-up activity in company systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in multi-unit retail, service operations, franchise support, field operations, or a related role
  • Working knowledge of store-level sales, gross margin, inventory, payroll, and profitability measures
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to interpret performance reports and translate findings into practical next steps
  • Ability to influence results without direct authority and balance franchisee support with accountability
  • Specialty retail and service experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting platforms
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background verifications required for external candidates
