About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the foundation of a new threat research team
- Build team culture, tooling pipeline, and research agenda from scratch
- Conduct hands-on threat hunting
- Perform data-driven security research
- Produce thought-leadership publications for security professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of hands-on security research experience
- At least 2 years focused on cloud security research
- Hands-on programming and scripting experience with Javascript, Java, or Python
- In-depth understanding of web architecture, including OSI Model, REST APIs, microservices, DNS, and TLS
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management protocols such as OAuth2/OIDC and FIDO2 WebAuthn (nice to have)
- Extensive knowledge of New Account Fraud and Account Takeover techniques, including Credential Stuffing, Phishing, and Bot Detection Evasion (nice to have)
- Expertise in browser fingerprinting techniques using Javascript API (nice to have)
