About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain AI agent governance capabilities across AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI Foundry
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI agent capabilities while evaluating new frameworks, features, and industry best practices
- Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic development tools while maintaining clear requirements, modular design, observability, maintainability, and code quality
- Evolve Identity Governance capabilities including certifications, lifecycle management, workflows, and Separation of Duties
- Enhance existing functionality, improve performance and scalability, and deliver incremental enterprise identity governance features
- Partner with Support and customer-facing teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, improve product reliability, and deliver positive customer experiences
- Monitor AI agent performance, usage, operational health, and security across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to implement secure AI solutions using authentication, authorization, and least-privilege principles
- Implement logging, metrics, monitoring, and compliance for AI agents
- Evaluate emerging AI agent platforms, interoperability standards such as MCP and Agent-to-Agent communication, and governance technologies
- Document architecture, governance processes, operational procedures, and engineering best practices for AI agents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering related software engineering roles
- Hands-on experience in data ingestion, data preparation, data processing, and scalable data pipelines
- Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or Apache Flink
- Strong understanding of data modeling and designing scalable data solutions
- Extensive experience with BigQuery, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Elasticsearch
- Experience designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting analytical queries
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured data management concepts
- Good understanding of distributed data systems and data integration patterns
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Exposure to Identity Governance (IGA) concepts
- Experience building MCP servers and AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph and LlamaIndex
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience building enterprise-scale distributed systems
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
