About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond promptly to user inquiries and support requests via phone, email, or in-person
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, core applications, and systems
- Document support requests and resolutions in the IT service management system
- Follow troubleshooting procedures and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel
- Assist in setting up new user accounts and hardware under senior staff direction
- Support basic software installations and updates on end-user devices
- Maintain and update IT documentation related to troubleshooting and support procedures
- Educate users on basic IT policies, password management, and best practices
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when assisting users
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve technical skills and service delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years of IT or Help Desk experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and general desktop support
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues when appropriate
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certifications or coursework (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) a plus
- Healthcare IT experience is a plus but not required
