About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, operate, and mature Pinterest’s Corporate Compliance and Ethics programs and related policies
  • Oversee conflicts of interest, policy management, training and awareness, records and information management, standard setting, control management, and monitoring activities
  • Assist with third-party risk management, including sanctions and restricted-country screening, third-party reviews, and gifts and hospitality
  • Identify, assess, document, and escalate potential compliance risks and issues
  • Design and conduct risk assessments and track mitigation actions
  • Support regulatory monitoring across the US, EU, LATAM, and APAC
  • Maintain and improve self-service compliance resources, procedures, process flows, trackers, evidence repositories, and the internal compliance knowledge hub
  • Assist with or conduct compliance-related internal investigations
  • Support monitoring, control testing, compliance audits, management updates, and Board reporting
  • Drive approved AI-enabled tools and workflow automation while maintaining human review, data protection, and auditability
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Product, and Engineering
  • Proactively solve problems and maximize efficiency and impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining compliance and ethics, sanctions, AML/KYC, third-party risk, or risk management programs
  • Experience using GRC, workflow, or case-management systems
  • Familiarity with sanctions screening and OFAC concepts, FCPA, anti-bribery and corruption, financial crime risks and controls, or consumer protection regulation
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment and ability to recognize when escalation is needed
  • Experience using AI and automation tools to improve compliance workflows, documentation, or reporting
  • Experience building productive working relationships across teams and functions
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and presentation software
  • J.D. preferred
  • Experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment preferred
  • Compliance or ethics certification such as CCEP, CAMS, or ICA preferred
