About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build full-stack Pinner-facing features for Pinterest
- Contribute to and lead product development from ideation through implementation and release
- Rapidly prototype, run A/B tests, and architect scalable solutions for millions of users
- Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality
- Suggest new product ideas and features
- Use automated testing to deliver technically high-quality features
- Take responsibility for developed components and features
- Work with peers on varied, high-impact projects
- Create and drive initiatives from inception through technical design, implementation, and release
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years of industry full-stack or backend development experience building consumer- or business-facing products
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend tech stacks, such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing
- Experience writing reliable and maintainable code used by many engineers
- Ability to keep up to date with new technologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
